Voice Bridge : quand votre smartphone devient une ligne fixe !
Le Voice Bridge : derrière ce nom énigmatique, se cache un boitier particulièrement pratique. Il permet de transformer votre smartphone en ligne fixe !
Développé par Invoxia, un fabricant de téléphones fixes innovants, le Voice Bridge permettra d’utiliser votre mobile comme si c’était votre téléphone fixe. Ce petit boitier est enfin disponible, alors qu’il a été présenté il y a deux ans de cela au CES 2014.
Alors que le téléphone fixe a vécu ses heures de gloire, puis un regain d’intérêt au début des offres d’accès à Internet Triple Play, il est désormais délaissé. Pourtant, ne pas s’encombre d’un tel appareil, c’est abandonner la qualité sonore, la couverture et les offres plus généreuses (intégrant les appels à l’international).
Ce type de dispositif existe déjà puisque Orange, SFR ou Free propose des alternatives pour utiliser sa ligne fixe sur son smartphone. Elles prennent la forme d’application, comme le Livebox Phone, ou de protocole, le SIP (services Freephonie et LiberTalk). Pourtant ces solutions restent assez limitées, puisque les appels à l’international ne sont pas inclus, comme ceux vers les mobiles ou les numéros spéciaux.
Le Voice Bridge n’a quant à lui aucune restriction. Il est donc possible de relier jusqu’à 5 téléphones ou tablettes Android ou iOS à une ligne fixe. Ce boitier se branche d’un côté à la ligne fixe, et de l’autre à un réseau local, un port Ethernet de sa box. Une fois l’installation terminée, votre iPhone ou smartphone Android devient un téléphone sans fil résidentiel. En revanche vous ne pouvez l’utiliser en dehors du foyer, vous recevrez seulement des notifications, si l’on cherche à vous appeler sur votre ligne fixe.
