Euchre online is a popular online trick-taking card game featuring a trump in which two-player teams of four players compete. The basic rules are similar to those of Whist in that each player plays one card and the highest card of the suit led wins the trick, unless a trump suit card is played.

Starting this game, the player to the left of the dealer leads any card of any suit, including the trump card. If a player has a card of the led suit, play continues in a clockwise direction and the player must follow suit. The left bower pertains to the trump suit as opposed to the native suit.

Unless a trump card is played, the winner of a trick is the player who played the highest card of the suit led. The player who played the highest trump card wins the trick if a trump card is played. A player who does not play the led suit or trump is unable to win the trick. The victor of the trick retrieves the played cards from the table, turns them over, and then moves on to the subsequent trick.

Once all five rounds have concluded, the hand is subsequently assessed. The next hand is dealt by the player to the dealer's left, and the transaction continues clockwise around the table until one partnership scores 10 points and wins the Euchre game.
